Leyla Mustafoski

I've been photographing people and their milestones for several years, working across New York City, New Jersey, and beyond. Over that time I've covered hundreds of events — from intimate ceremonies to large receptions, Sweet 16s, communions, family portraits, and everything in between.

My approach is documentary. I photograph what's actually happening rather than constructing it. That means I move quietly, stay out of the way when I should, and step in when I need to — but the goal is always photographs that feel true to the day rather than performed for the camera.
